Postponement of Annual Black Leadership Conference
The Board of Directors of the New Jersey Black Issues Convention (NJBIC) has made the important decision to postpone the Annual Black Leadership Conference, originally scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025.
This decision was not made lightly. In light of the critical importance of the upcoming gubernatorial election, the Board believes our time, energy, and platform must be fully dedicated to voter engagement, empowerment, and mobilization within New Jersey’s Black communities.
We are committed to using this pivotal moment to encourage voter participation and ensure our communities are equipped with the knowledge and tools to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
While the in-person conference is being rescheduled, we will be hosting a series of timely and impactful webinarsfocused on the pressing issues affecting Black communities across New Jersey. These virtual events will provide continued engagement, education, and opportunities for collaboration as we finalize a new date for our annual conference.
We thank our supporters, partners, and community leaders for their understanding and unwavering commitment to the mission of NJBIC. Together, we will harness this moment to drive change and make a lasting impact.
Stay connected with us for updates on webinar dates and the rescheduled conference.
